Orhan Pamuk sits down with former Ambassador to Afghanistan Robert Finn, scholar of Turkish studies and translator of Pamuk’s Silent House. Pamuk’s novel My Name is Red won the 2003 IMPAC International Dublin Literary Award and in 2006 he was awarded the Nobel Prize in literature. His work has been translated into more than sixty languages. With Ambassador Finn Pamuk will discuss his tenth and latest novel, The Red-Haired Woman (2016), and the current state of literary and cultural life in his country.
